Policy scope

These policies govern commercial use of the Style Bridge Global platform, including Marketplace and Shop America transactions. Product-, participant-, checkout-, and country-specific disclosures may also apply.

1. Scope and Company

This Privacy & Media Consent Policy explains how Style Bridge Global LLC collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains information across the corporate website, Marketplace, Shop America, SBG accounts, forms, product requests, seller onboarding, product sightings, and related communications.

Style Bridge Global LLC is the company responsible for these channels. Marketplace and Shop America are platform channels, not separate data controllers unless SBG later provides a different notice.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect account and contact information such as name, email address, telephone number, country, language, account role, and preferences; transaction and request information such as products, variants, quantities, destination, budget, shipping details, and support history; and seller or participant information such as business details, applications, product data, payout status, verification status, receipts, and task records.

We may also collect technical information such as device and browser data, IP address, timestamps, approximate location derived from network information, security events, page activity, and cookie or similar-technology data.

3. Product Sightings, Photos, and Location Information

Shop America product sightings may include product photographs, shelf labels, barcodes, store name, store region, observation time, price, availability notes, and limited location information needed to evaluate or fulfill a request.

Users should not include faces, private residences, vehicle plates, identification documents, payment details, or unrelated people in uploads. SBG may remove metadata, crop or redact images, limit public location precision, and retain original evidence in restricted records for verification, fraud prevention, disputes, or legal compliance.

4. Identity, Payment, and Payout Information

Approved payment and payout providers may collect card, bank, tax, identity, and verification information. SBG may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, payout status, limited account details, fraud signals, and compliance results, but does not intend to store complete payment-card numbers.

Identity and payout information may be required for approved sellers, scouts, shoppers, or service providers. Access will be limited to authorized uses and personnel.

5. How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure accounts; operate Marketplace and Shop America; review listings, sellers, requests, sightings, and tasks; locate and verify products; calculate shipping; coordinate inspection and fulfillment; process payments and payouts; prevent fraud; provide support; communicate service updates; maintain records; comply with law; and improve the platform.

We may use de-identified or aggregated information for analytics, planning, performance measurement, and service improvement where it cannot reasonably identify an individual.

6. How We Share Information

We may share information as reasonably necessary with approved sellers, shoppers, scouts, service providers, payment processors, identity-verification providers, hosting and technology providers, communications providers, carriers, warehouses, insurers, customs brokers, customs authorities, professional advisers, regulators, and law enforcement.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not publicly disclose a shopper’s exact home address or private payout information. Public profile, listing, review, or sighting information is shared according to the user’s submission and platform settings.

7. International Processing

SBG connects people and markets across borders. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where customers, sellers, service providers, carriers, or technology providers operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws.

8. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including account operations, transaction records, tax and accounting obligations, safety, fraud prevention, disputes, legal claims, and enforcement. Retention periods may differ by record type and jurisdiction.

When information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymize, or securely isolate it, subject to technical backup cycles and legal preservation obligations.

9. Security

SBG uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. These may include access controls, restricted administrative permissions, secure service providers, authentication controls, logging, and incident-response procedures.

No internet service is completely secure. Users should use unique passwords, protect verification codes, and notify SBG promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

10. Choices and Requests

Users may review or update available account information, unsubscribe from optional marketing messages, and request access, correction, or deletion by contacting SBG. Certain information may be retained where required for transactions, fraud prevention, safety, legal obligations, or disputes.

Artisans, sellers, scouts, shoppers, and other contributors may request correction or removal of public-facing information. Removal from public display does not necessarily require deletion of compliance or transaction records.

11. Children’s Privacy

The platform is not directed to children under 13, and SBG does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without legally required parental consent. Accounts and commercial participation are limited to adults. If SBG learns that prohibited child data was collected, it will take reasonable steps to delete it.

12. Cookies, Analytics, and Communications

The platform and its service providers may use essential storage, cookies, logs, and analytics to maintain sessions, remember preferences, measure performance, prevent abuse, and understand use. Additional marketing technologies should not be activated without appropriate notice and controls.

SBG may send account, security, request, fulfillment, and policy communications. Optional promotional messages may be controlled through the method provided in the message or by contacting SBG.

13. Policy Changes

We may update this Policy as the platform changes. The page will display the current version and date. Material changes may require renewed consent before affected features can be used.
